A white mother-of-pearl dial with ten baguette-cut diamond hour markers, framed by a diamond-set bezel, brings a soft shimmer to this yellow gold Rolex Day-Date 36, worn on a plain President bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold. Shell is a natural material and no two pieces grow alike, so no other Rolex Day-Date 36 will have quite this dial. Yellow gold gives the pale nacre a warm frame, while the stones on the dial and bezel lend crisp sparkle to its soft sheen. Self-winding calibre 3255 has Paraflex shock absorbers to protect it from knocks and a reserve of roughly 70 hours. The date at 3 jumps over instantly beneath the Cyclops lens, and the weekday is written across the top. A concealed Crownclasp closes the President bracelet out of sight.
