From dial to bracelet, diamonds run through this yellow gold Rolex Day-Date 36: its bright green dial is marked by ten baguette-cut diamonds, the bezel is diamond-set, and the President bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold has diamond-set center links. With that much brilliance, the green does real work, giving the stones a vivid ground of color to flash against. Yellow gold, meanwhile, warms everything around it. Calibre 3255 is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, and its rate, measured after casing, may run up to two seconds slow or two seconds fast each day. A screw-down Twinlock crown and screw-down case back seal the Oyster case to 100 meters. Calendar windows at 12 and 3 give the weekday by name and the date.
