This Rolex Day-Date 36 in 18 ct white gold has a white mother-of-pearl dial that never looks quite the same twice, set with diamond hour markers in 18 ct gold settings plus baguette-cut diamonds at 6 and 9 o'clock, all inside a diamond-set bezel. Nacre is a natural material, so its sheen and markings differ from one dial to the next. With diamonds on dial and bezel and white gold surrounding them, the effect is pale and shimmering rather than bold. Monday through Sunday appear by name at 12 o'clock, and the Cyclops lens on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal enlarges the date at 3. Behind the nacre sits calibre 3255, an officially certified Superlative Chronometer with a reserve of about 70 hours. The President bracelet that completes this Rolex Day-Date 36 is white gold, fastened by a concealed Crownclasp.
