Here the Rolex Day-Date 36 comes in 18 ct white gold with a diamond-set bezel, a blue ombré dial with Roman numerals and a President bracelet free of stones. Ombré describes the shading: lighter where the hands meet at the center, then deepening toward the edge until the blue turns almost inky beneath the bezel. That gradient lends the dial depth, and the Roman numerals add a formal note. The day is shown in full at 12 o'clock, the instantaneous date at 3 is enlarged by the Cyclops lens, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers it all. Calibre 3255 has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and meets the Superlative Chronometer standard. With the bracelet in unadorned white gold, closing on a concealed Crownclasp, the bezel carries the only diamonds on this Rolex Day-Date 36.
