Saturated color is the point of this Rolex Day-Date 36, whose bright blue dial takes its hour markers from ten baguette-cut diamonds, inside a diamond-set bezel and an 18 ct white gold case. The blue is confident and vivid, and the diamonds stand out sharply against it, both at the hours and around the edge. White gold, cool and pale, lets the dial carry the personality of the watch. Its calendar works in two windows, one for the weekday at 12 o'clock and one at 3 for the date, which jumps instantaneously under its Cyclops lens. Calibre 3255 will run for some 70 hours unworn, and the Oyster case is water resistant down to 100 meters. With its concealed Crownclasp, the white gold President bracelet finishes a Rolex Day-Date 36 built from blue, white metal and diamonds.
