At a glance, this Rolex Day-Date 36 is pink on pink: a rosé-colour dial set with diamonds, an 18 ct Everose gold case with a ring of baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel, and a President bracelet in the same Everose gold. Look closer and the dial's stones come in two forms, diamonds in 18 kt gold settings for the hour markers and baguette-cut diamonds at 6 and 9 o'clock. Rosé-colour is a pale, gentle pink, a shade lighter than the metal around it, which lets every stone show clearly. Each day's full name appears at 12, and the date changes instantaneously at 3. Calibre 3255 beats behind the dial with a Chronergy escapement, about 70 hours of reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification. The Oyster case keeps water out to 100 meters, and a concealed Crownclasp lets the Rolex Day-Date 36 close around the wrist without a visible fastening.
