A brown ombré dial set with diamonds and an 18 ct Everose gold case give this Rolex Day-Date 36 a warm, earthy palette, lit by a bezel of baguette-cut diamonds and finished with a President bracelet in Everose gold. On the dial, diamonds in 18 kt gold settings mark the hours, and baguette-cut diamonds take the 6 and 9 o'clock positions. Ombré means shaded: the brown is lighter near the center and gathers depth toward the rim, so the dial seems to glow from its middle. Among these browns and rose tones the diamonds are the one cool note, and they look whiter for it. Under the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the full weekday stands at 12 and the date at 3.
