Set in 18 ct Everose gold, this Rolex Day-Date 36 combines a baguette-cut diamond bezel with a diamond-paved dial whose ten hour markers are rainbow-hued, baguette-cut sapphires. Stones run from edge to center: rectangular diamonds on the bezel, a pavé of diamonds across the dial and a circle of colored sapphires at the hours. The pink of the Everose softens all that brilliance and picks up the warmer tones among the sapphires. Even amid this much gem setting, both calendar windows stay easy to read. Calibre 3255 performs to Superlative Chronometer standards with 70 hours or so of autonomy, and a screw-down Twinlock crown helps seal the case to 100 meters. Carried on an Everose President bracelet secured by a concealed Crownclasp, this Rolex Day-Date 36 is as much jewelry as watch.
