The green ombré dial on this Rolex Day-Date 36 shows diamond markers in 18 ct gold settings, with baguette-cut diamonds in the 6 and 9 o'clock positions, and it sits inside a baguette-cut diamond bezel on an 18 ct yellow gold case. Green and yellow gold are a natural match, and the ombré shading darkens from the center toward the rim, so the green appears to deepen as the eye moves outward. Set against that color, the diamonds look icy and the gold looks warmer still. Within the green, the weekday has its own window at 12, and the date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3. Calibre 3255 inside is a Superlative Chronometer whose blue Parachrom hairspring resists magnetism.
