Yellow gold and a bright green dial set a lively key for this Rolex Day-Date 36, which marks its hours with ten baguette-cut diamonds, rings its bezel with more baguettes and carries 18 ct yellow gold from the case through the President bracelet. Saturated and fresh, the green takes on extra warmth from the gold around it. Each baguette cuts a clean white line across the color, and the bezel repeats that shape in a complete ring. Paraflex shock absorbers cushion calibre 3255, whose blue Parachrom hairspring resists magnetic fields, and it runs around 70 hours fully wound. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with a Cyclops lens above the date at 3, covers the dial, and the weekday is written out at 12. The Oyster case is water resistant to 330 feet, and the yellow gold runs uninterrupted to a concealed Crownclasp on this Rolex Day-Date 36.
