Baguette-cut diamonds appear twice on this Rolex Day-Date 36 in 18 ct white gold, around the bezel and at 6 and 9 o'clock on its blue ombré dial, where diamonds in 18 ct gold settings mark the remaining hours. The color moves from a lively blue at the center to a near-midnight shade at the edge, so the dial has real depth beneath the crystal. White gold and diamonds keep the frame cool and bright, which suits a blue this rich. Behind it, calibre 3255 brings Superlative Chronometer certification, a blue Parachrom hairspring unaffected by magnetism and a reserve of around 70 hours. The weekday gets its full name at 12 o'clock, leaving 3 o'clock to the date.
