Repeating that long, rectangular cut gives the watch a disciplined, architectural look, softened by the pearly sheen of the nacre beneath. The calendar keeps its usual places, with the date jumping instantaneously at 3 and the day at 12. Within, calibre 3255 counts Paraflex shock absorbers and a Chronergy escapement among its parts, with Superlative Chronometer certification and a reserve near 70 hours. The white gold President bracelet hides its fastening in a concealed Crownclasp. Geometry from the diamonds and softness from the nacre give this Rolex Day-Date 36 its balance.
