Baguettes meet bright blue on this Rolex Day-Date 36: ten baguette-cut diamonds act as hour markers on the dial, and more line the bezel of the 18 ct white gold case. The blue is vivid, and the diamonds cut sharply into it, giving the dial a graphic, high-contrast look. With white gold around it, nothing warms or softens the color, so it stays clear and cool. Calibre 3255, with its Chronergy escapement and paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, has its deviation capped at two seconds a day either side once cased, and it runs for some 70 hours. Its day window at 12 spells out the weekday, while the date takes 3 o'clock. The Oyster case closes with a screw-down back and a screw-down Twinlock crown. A concealed Crownclasp secures the white gold President bracelet of this Rolex Day-Date 36.
