A diamond-set bezel surrounds the white mother-of-pearl dial set with diamonds on this Rolex Day-Date 40, whose 40mm case and President bracelet are both 18 ct yellow gold. On the dial, 10 baguette-cut diamonds serve as hour markers, so stones appear on the bezel and the dial alike. Two displays make up the calendar: the day, written in full at 12 o'clock, and an instantaneous date at 3 o'clock under a Cyclops lens. Calibre 3255 sits inside as a Superlative Chronometer, built around a Chronergy escapement and holding approximately 70 hours of power. The Oyster case has a screw-down case back and is waterproof to 100 meters. The President bracelet closes on a concealed Crownclasp. Yellow gold gives this Rolex Day-Date 40 a warm frame for its white mother-of-pearl.
