Baguette-cut diamonds line the bezel of this Rolex Day-Date 40, framing a green ombré dial with Roman numerals in a 40mm case of 18 ct yellow gold, on a matching yellow gold President bracelet. The rectangular stones form a crisp, geometric edge around a softer gradient, where the green moves from a lighter middle to a deep outer ring. Roman numerals give that color a classical rhythm, and the yellow gold warms everything it touches. Both calendar windows read cleanly on the green, the weekday by name and the date by number. Behind the dial, calibre 3255 pairs its Chronergy escapement with a blue Parachrom hairspring and runs for about 70 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. Its Crownclasp folds out of sight, leaving green, gold and a frame of baguettes as the whole story of this Rolex Day-Date 40.
