This Rolex Deepsea Challenge places an intense black dial within a unidirectional matte black Cerachrom bezel with platinum-coated graduation, in a 50mm case of RLX titanium on an Oyster bracelet also made of RLX titanium. Its water resistance extends to 11,000 meters, or 36,090 feet. The case is built on the Ringlock System architecture, pairing a compression ring of nitrogen-alloyed steel with a 9.5mm-thick domed sapphire crystal. A helium escape valve, a screw-down Triplock winding crown and a monobloc middle case closed by a screw-down case back complete the construction. On the bracelet, a Fliplock extension link and the Glidelock extension system let the wearer adjust its length. Inside the Rolex Deepsea Challenge, calibre 3230 is a certified Superlative Chronometer with a Chronergy escapement and a blue Parachrom hairspring, and it runs for roughly 70 hours on a full wind.
