A solid gold Jubilee bracelet is about as much watch as Rolex builds outside the Day-Date, which is what makes the grey and black bezel the interesting choice: it stops the reference tipping into spectacle. Everything that could be warm is 18 ct yellow gold — case, bezel surround, and all five links across the bracelet — and then cold ceramic goes on top of it. The graduation is platinum applied under vacuum, because gold-coloured numerals would have disappeared into the metal around them. Grey and black reached steel only in 2024; on gold it has been available longer. The display underneath is unchanged from the steel versions: calibre 3285, about seventy hours, and an hour hand that jumps in one-hour steps to set a second zone.
