A diamond-set bezel and the Oyster bracelet around an aubergine dial with diamond hour markers. 28mm in Everose Rolesor. Aubergine is the deepest colour Rolex puts on a Lady-Datejust, dark enough to read almost black until the light catches the purple in it. The Lady-Datejust is the 28mm reading of the watch that introduced the date window in 1945, and it carries the same Cyclops lens and the same self-winding movement architecture as its larger siblings, scaled down rather than simplified. This reference is cased in Everose Rolesor with a diamond-set bezel, on an Oyster bracelet. Calibre 2236 sits inside with a Syloxi hairspring made of silicon rather than metal, which resists magnetic fields, and about fifty-five hours of reserve.
