A beige dial, a warm and sandy neutral close to the color of linen, sets the tone of this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28, with its 28mm Oystersteel case, domed bezel and Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel. It softens the brightness of the steel without adding anything showy. No date window appears, so the applied markers, finished with Chromalight, sit in an even, symmetrical ring. Calibre 2232 pairs a paramagnetic escape wheel of nickel-phosphorus with a silicon Syloxi hairspring, two parts chosen so that magnetic fields have little effect on timekeeping. Officially certified as a Superlative Chronometer, it holds approximately 55 hours of power. The case is an Oyster in the full sense, its monobloc middle shut by a screw-down back and sealed at the crown by Twinlock, good to 100 meters. Quiet as it looks, this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 is properly sealed and properly certified.
