A lavender dial, a soft violet, sits in the 28mm Oystersteel case of this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28, under a domed bezel and paired with an Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel. Muted rather than vivid, the shade lets the steel do most of the shining. The crystal over it is scratch-resistant sapphire, and a monobloc middle case with a screw-down back and Twinlock crown seals the watch to 100 meters (330 feet). Without a date to interrupt them, the applied hour markers form an unbroken circle, each finished with a Chromalight display for reading at night. Calibre 2232 stores roughly 55 hours of power, and its Syloxi hairspring is made of silicon. An Oysterclasp with an Easylink comfort extension good for 5mm lets the fit of this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 change as the day does.
