This Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 takes the classic route: a black dial, a 28mm Oystersteel case, a domed bezel and an Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel. Calibre 2232 is built to resist magnetism, with a Syloxi hairspring in silicon and a paramagnetic nickel-phosphorus escape wheel, and it holds approximately 55 hours of reserve. It is an officially certified Superlative Chronometer. Crown and case back both screw down, giving the Oyster case a 100-meter water rating, and an Oysterclasp with the Easylink 5mm comfort extension fastens the bracelet. On the dial itself, black gives the applied hour markers their sharpest contrast, and the Chromalight display keeps them visible once the lights go down. With no date to break the symmetry, this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 has a formal, almost dressy calm.
