The dial of this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 is med blue, a measured mid-tone that is neither bright nor dark, set in a 28mm Oystersteel case with a domed bezel on a steel Oyster bracelet. It is calm enough for a suit and relaxed enough for a weekend, and the bracelet keeps up with both: its Oysterclasp includes an Easylink extension worth 5mm of extra room. No date window breaks the dial, so the applied hour markers, each finished in Chromalight, circle it evenly. Calibre 2232 winds itself and can run about 55 hours unworn, with a silicon Syloxi hairspring and a paramagnetic escape wheel to hold its rate steady. Its Twinlock crown and case back screw down, keeping the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 watertight to 100 meters.
