A bright black dial anchors this Rolex Sky-Dweller in 18 ct yellow gold, held in a 42mm case beneath a fluted Ring Command bezel and worn on a gold Jubilee bracelet. With gold on every other surface, the dark dial is where the eye settles, and it gives each indication firm contrast. The month shows in one of twelve apertures around the edge, driven by the Saros annual calendar, which allows for the difference between 30-day and 31-day months. Off center, a 24-hour disc tracks a second time zone, and the date takes the 3 o'clock position under the Cyclops lens. Turning the fluted bezel chooses what the winding crown will set. Calibre 9002, a Superlative Chronometer with about 72 hours of reserve, runs all of it. An Oysterclasp secures the gold links of this Rolex Sky-Dweller, and its Easylink extension can add 5mm.
