At 43mm this is the larger of the two quartz Formula 1 cases and the one that suits the collection's proportions best — the bezel has more room, and the dial does not feel crowded by it. Black throughout, with luminous baton indexes and a date at three. The Formula 1 has been TAG Heuer's most-sold line since 1986 precisely because it does this much for the money: 200 metres of water resistance, sapphire crystal and a steel bracelet on a folding clasp.
