The blue Black Bay 54 on black rubber is the lightest watch in this Tudor group, a 37mm steel case only 11.2mm thick on a strap that weighs next to nothing, and the combination suits the model's small-diver proportions. Against black rubber the blue of the dial and the bezel insert reads more vivid than it does on steel. The bezel keeps the sparse 60-minute scale of Tudor's 1954 diver, without minute graduations, so the numerals and the triangle at twelve do all the work. Power comes from the Manufacture Calibre MT5400, a COSC chronometer good for around seventy hours. A domed sapphire crystal covers the domed blue dial and its applied markers, the case is rated to 200 metres, and the strap's T-fit clasp is adjustable by hand.
