On the five-link steel bracelet, the Coke bezel becomes the only sporting note on an otherwise polished watch, which is the appeal of this Black Bay 58 GMT: a travel watch for people who travel in a jacket. The small polished links sit between satin ones and flex easily around the wrist, and the T-fit clasp lets the length be adjusted on the move. The 24-hour bezel in black and burgundy turns both ways, the domed black dial carries gilt hour markers and a date at three, and the arrow-tipped hand tracks a second time zone. Beneath it the Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U, a COSC and METAS certified Master Chronometer, runs about sixty-five hours and resists 15,000 gauss. The 39mm case is 12.8mm thick and waterproof to 200 metres.
