A burgundy dial under a burgundy bezel is the defining trait of this Black Bay 58, and on the three-link rivet-style bracelet it takes on a period look, the links imitating the riveted bracelets of the 1950s down to the rivet heads on their sides. The red of the dial deepens almost to black as it turns away from the light, and the white markers and snowflake hand stay clear against it. At 39mm across and 11.7mm thick, the case suits a wide range of wrists. The Manufacture Calibre MT5400-U behind the dial is certified twice over, by COSC for the movement and by METAS for the finished watch, which also covers its tolerance of 15,000 gauss and its 200-metre water resistance, and it holds around sixty-five hours. Length is set with the T-fit clasp, no tools needed.
