Black bezel, black dial and silver-coloured markers make this the most monochrome way to buy the 41mm Black Bay, and the three-link steel bracelet keeps it in that register: broad links in alternating polished and satin finishes, nothing that pulls the eye away from the dial. The snowflake hour hand, a Tudor diver signature since 1969, is the one flourish, large enough to read at a glance under water or across a desk. Inside is the Manufacture Calibre MT5602-U, certified by both COSC and METAS as a Master Chronometer, so the finished watch has been tested for precision, water resistance and magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss, and it holds about seventy hours of reserve. The case is 41mm across and 13.6mm thick, rated to 200 metres, and the bracelet closes with Tudor's T-fit clasp, which adjusts its length without tools.
