On a rubber strap, the black-bezel Black Bay becomes the lightest version of Tudor's 41mm diver, and the one most at home actually getting wet. The strap is black like the bezel insert and the domed dial, so the only contrast left on the watch comes from the silver-coloured hour markers and the oversized snowflake hand, which is exactly how a tool watch should read. It fastens with the same T-fit clasp as the steel bracelets, so the length can be fine-tuned without tools. Under the dial runs the Manufacture Calibre MT5602-U, a Master Chronometer certified by both COSC and METAS, holding around seventy hours of reserve and shrugging off magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The case measures 41mm by 13.6mm under a domed sapphire crystal, with a 200-metre rating the rubber strap is built to match.
