The same 1969 A384 case on black leather rather than the ladder bracelet, which is how a great many of the originals were actually sold and how the faceted case is best appreciated — a bracelet hides the flanks that make this design unusual. White lacquered dial, black counters, tachymeter around the flange. The El Primero runs at 5 Hz, the frequency that made it the first automatic chronograph able to time to a fraction of a second. 37mm.
